TALES TOO TERRIBLE TO TELL is a series published by New England Comics Press. It is devoted to the study and appreciation of the great Pre-Code Horror Comics from the 1950's.

Each of the eleven issues in the series reprints between 4 and 9 stories from Pre-Code Horror comics; in clear; crisp black-and-white. That's 718 pages of material with complete reprints of more than SIXTY stories as well as HUNDREDS of covers; many in full color.

Each issue also contains 5-9 pages of the COVER GALLERY reprinting many classic covers in black and white. FULL COLOR cover reprints also appear on the back cover. Most issues offer a FULL COLOR FRONT COVER adapted from one of the GREAT Pre-Code Horror comics (as shown in the color photo on this page.)

Each issue also contains TERROLOGY; our in-depth examination of the Pre-Code Horror Publishers. Parts 1 through 3 of TERROLOGY provide a detailed overview of ALL Pre-Code Horror publishers and titles. This overview provides an excellent 'checklist' of the 1450 comics issued by 28 different Pre-Code Horror publishers. A MUST-HAVE for any serious collector!
